  • PUBLIC and RESTROOM do not harmonize. Using the facilities involves intensely private acts. This is the place where the concealed interior of the body comes into close contact with the concealed interior of the building. “You are in a private public space!” is a graphic installation that explores the symbiotic relationship between privacy and publicness in the public restroom. The implicit visual invasion, personal choreography, and psychological cues in the public restroom were discussed through informative diagrams and on-site experiences.
